All crew members were rescued after MING YUE 69 ship is tilted in danger of sinking
The crews from Ming Yue 69 leaved the ship by life raft after detecting the ship is tilted and in danger of sinking at Van Phong Bay - Nha Trang.
Morning, 02:25 am, December 14, 2021, according to the VHF signal for help from Ming Yue 69 ship (Mongolian nationality with 17 crew members) at position of 12 degrees 31'20"N, 109 degrees 25'39"E (Van Phong Bay - Nha Trang), at around 4.45 am on the same day the tugboat Sea Boxer arrived at the scene.
At 5:26 a.m. ,the tugboat Sea Boxer rescued six crew members from a life raft, about 4 nautical miles from the accident site.
At 5:29 a.m., the Sea Boxer discovered another life raft, more than 4 nautical miles east of the first life raft, and at 06:17 a.m., 17 crew members floating at sea of the distressed boat were loaded onto tugboat Sea Boxer.
