SALVAGE PLAN for the M/V HEUNG A DRAGON
Bad weather hampers salvors.
Immediately after the Vung Tau port authorities approved the salvage plan for the "Heung A Dragon", HAIVANSHIP salvage fleet coordinate with the salvage company Svitzer dispatched one crane ship with a lifting capacity of 100 tons, 1 crane with a lifting capacity of 250 tons, 4 salvage vessels, logistics and a large number of barges to the container ship.



When the container removal started, the weather turned bad with rough seas, strong winds and high waves. Until the evening of Nov 22, 77 of about 600 containers were hoisted onto the barges. The cargo removal work was expected to take about 45 days.
